Levantina sets its stakes even higher in Las Vegas as an exhibitor at Coverings 2011

This new edition of the most important ceramic and stone event in the USA found the Spanish multinational in the American far west, after previous years in Orlando and Chicago.


Novelda / Las Vegas, 16 March 2011. Levantina, a benchmark in extraction, production and sale of Natural Stone, participated in Coverings 2011 within the framework of Spanish companies that the ‘Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior’ brings together and organizes. This year, Las Vegas become the new stage for the presentation and exhibition of the novelties of the sector. It is a new enclave that stands out for being one of the world’s epicenters for the development of hotel and contraction activity.


The North American market, values the nobility and the uniqueness that the use of natural stones in bathroom and kitchen floors, walls and countertops provides. The authenticity and wide array of marbles, granites and sandstones filled 180 sqm of exhibition space of Levantina’s stand No 2234. Materials such as Crema Marfil from the Monte Coto quarry or Marron Emperador, marbles with a Spanish guarantee of origin have been used in emblematic works such as the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, designed by an architectural team from Friedmatter Group and which opened its doors last December. The capacity to mobilize major resources makes Levantina one of the principal suppliers of Natural Stone for major architectural projects.


In turn, under the Granite Collection series, Levantina places the exclusivity and originality of the most exotic granites proceeding from India, Africa and Brazil within reach of distributors and final clients. An ideal collection for use on kitchen and bathroom countertops where the quality of these stones creates an elegant and unique environment without foregoing the major benefits of hardness and resistance that characterize these materials. One of its star products is Lennon, a Brazilian granite that Levantina itself exploits. The neutrality of its grey, white and blue tones make it a product which easily combines with all type of woods, creating natural harmony among the decorative elements of such nobility.


The natural surfaces continuing being the preferred choice of US consumers for which Levantina reasserts its position as a benchmark in the distribution and sale of Natural Stone in this country.
