With 105.000 sqm supplied, Levantina becomes as the main provider of Natural Stone in this project.
Novelda / Alicante, 24th March 2011. Levantina’s Piel Serpiente has been the option chosen by AENA in order to cover the interiors of the new passenger terminal. An elegant and exclusive marble, which is both practical and highly-resistant, with a polished overall finish that provides extraordinary durability and makes it the perfect choice for heavily-trafficked zones. Levantina has also supplied Gris Salanga granite. Its uniform color and hardness makes it the perfect choice for these interior applications.
Only an organization like Levantina, with the capacity to mobilize large resources may carry out such large architectural projects such as the expansion work of the El Altet Airport. The 105,000 square meters of natural stone, provided for this project, are the equivalent to the area that 14 football fields would occupy.
The supply was provided in 10 months which involved some 10,000 square meters per month. For the culmination of this project, Levantina contributed all of its experience and resources. The most qualified professions of the production area, R+D, and the technical and quality offices have worked on the development of the work, providing the necessary service.
Company sources have expressed their satisfaction for having collaborated in this project. “Levantina will have a presence at the principal passenger entry into the province, the heart of marble and the principal headquarters of the Company, which fills us with great pride and shows once more our commitment to Alicante.“.
This project adds to a series of very prestigious world projects developed recently by this Novelda company, such as the Hotel Cosmpolitan in Las Vegas or the prestigious complex of luxury houses, the Lancasters in London. Likewise, it has supplied Ivory Cream from Mote Coto for the new Hospital La Fe in Valencia.
