Serie Urban

URBAN arises from the application of the latest nanotechnology treatments to our Natural Stones.

Its use is designated principally to exterior facades in urban settings, thereby providing an extraordinary saving in maintenance costs.

Under this series, two applications are currently available, anti-graffiti and self-cleaning:

Urban anti-graffiti is a treatment performed during the manufacturing process that protects the stone from graffiti assaults from the end of production. Its principal advantage is that it can be applied in any format and in addition, its original color or finish remains unchanged.
Urban self-cleaning is applied through the impregnation of nano-particles of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) molecules that are broken down under ultraviolet radiation. The oxygen which they release reacts with decomposed organic material and consequently, the natural action of the rain cleans the piece. This application is ideal in order to protect large facades with a difficult access for cleaning purposes, dirtiness, acid rain and pollution.
