Its seams form very fine and sinuous lines, as though the special magic it awakens were trying to go on forever.
Originating in Italy, Sepeggiante marble is characterised by its lightly-streaked cream colour with pink lines, so uniform that they seem like unending parallel grooves, very thin and delicate in nature. With a low porosity but high hardness, it offers four interesting finishes: polished, honed, aged or bush-hammered, with the last one giving it a spectacular shine, as though it were a mirror. This extraordinary feature, which makes it different to anything else and gives it first-rate decorative qualities, is why it is the most popular option, particularly for bathroom walls and floors and interior staircases.
Its resilience, its extraordinary polished finish, its natural textures, variety and colour richness are only some of the qualities that have made of marble one of the materials preferred by decorators and architects.
Resistance to fire and heat
Marble comes in different textures, thus adapting to the different currents in interior design and architecture.
This is the most characteristic finish, achieving an inimitable effect that reflects light and objects like a mirror.
This finish gives the stone greater character and prominence when laid. It reflects the light, but with lower reflection. The surface is smooth.
A special treatment gives it a texture that enhances the natural properties of the stone and the aesthetic force of its seams. The surface is somewhat irregular.
Thanks to this finish, the resulting product has a rough effect and a rugged touch, perfect for making this product more resilient in exteriors.
