Levantina consolidates its leading position in India, Spain and Brazil

Over the next few days the Spanish multinational, a leader in the Natural Stone sector, is taking part in the most important and prestigious international trade fairs. It is exhibiting an extensive range of products and attracting more than a thousand visitors in only ten days to its stands at the Vitoria Stone Fair (Brazil), Stona (India) and Cevisama (Spain).

Novelda, 9th February 2012. The distance from Bangalore (India) to Vitoria (Brazil) is 13,387 kilometres. Only a truly global organisation such as Levantina has the capacity to have a simultaneous presence at the main focuses of the Natural Stone and ceramics businesses worldwide.

Vitoria Stone Fair once again changes into the world epicentre of the granite business. The Spanish multinational combines the exoticism and originality of Natural Stone with high technology in an impressive stand where Brazilian granites are the main attractions.

Once again Levantina has chosen this event to exhibit its new products, among which its range of exotic materials, such as Splendour Gold, Kalahary, Kamarica, Baricato or Bordeaux River, stand out. The beauty and uniqueness of these stones bring an exclusive touch to any environment in which they are used.

All these products can be seen not only in the exhibition hall but also in the company’s factory which is a mere 3 kilometres away. This proximity allows a continuous traffic of customers between the fair and the factory where the samples are turned into extraordinary slabs which showcase the company’s excellent production processes.

In addition, Levantina, the first company to acquire the most advanced technology to produce the very thin ceramic in Spain has made the most of Cevisama in order to commemorate the five year’s of the ceramic sheet, TECHLAM®.

Over the last years, the ceramic sheet from Levantina has gained an increasingly strong foothold in the architecture and construction sectors as the best choice for floors, walls and other construction elements. Its versatility in terms of size, colour, and ability to combine with other materials together with its technical characteristics of durability, hygiene and flexibility make this a versatile material which can be used in multiple applications.

Based on this experience, the 3mm thick ceramic has now evolved into a 5mm thick sheet. This new TECHLAM® product is being launched at Cevisama celebrating five years in the market. TECHLAM® 5 mm is the new thickness whose great advantage is its great strength in one piece, which makes it especially suitable for its use in flooring or paving in areas with heavy traffic.

Finally, the Stona Fair is the event chosen by the Novelda multinational to exhibit its marbles to the Indian market, which has shown its appreciation by the numbers of visitors attending.

Levantina has taken advantage of these events to publicise its revolutionary virtual design tool “Inspirations” which allows the user to see the different materials of the company in their natural environments, kitchen, interiors and exteriors.
