Levantina’s commitment to the environment is based on the fundamental pillars of sustainable development and business ethics and covers the products’ entire life cycle. The main areas we focus on include: 

• The use of the most advanced technology to extract blocks and process our products with special emphasis on improving energy efficiency, saving and recycling water and respect for the environment.
• The reduction of CO2 emissions with initiatives such as preferential use of rail transport for our products to increase the sustainability of our logistics operation.
• To support customer concerns about the environment, by making available quality products that take account of environmental health. 
• To develop methods to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste materials. 
• To involve suppliers in the shared objective of conserving the environment.  
• To raise awareness in order to prevent pollution and encourage sustainable development at all levels of the production chain. 

In addition, Levantina promotes the ECO-STONE project, which aims to reduce energy consumption in the Natural Stone production process and achieve more energy efficient products which will benefit producers, end users and the environment.
