The Natural Stone Travertino Clásico may well have been used the longest in the history of construction materials.

Light beige in color, some of the most representative buildings of ancient Roman civilization have been built in this material. Travertino Clásico can be acqquired in a variety of finishes such as polished, bush-hammered, natural or aged. Two different cuts can be applied, vein or fleuri, to make it look significantly different. Travertino Clásico is used mainly in construction and most commonly in wall cladding and flooring. A variety of decorative effects can be achieved depending on cut and finish.

Travertine and its applications

Finishes

Depending on use and application, the natural surface of travertine can be finished in different ways.

Polished

This most characteristic of finishes achieves a peerless, light-reflecting effect in which objects look at themselves as in a mirror.

Honed

The stone achieves greater individuality and eminence when given this finish. It provides a smooth surface with low-key reflection.

Aged

The texture produced by this special treatment enhances the stone's natural properties and reinforces the aesthetics of its seams. It produces a slightly irregular surface.

Rough

The natural color and texture of the stone is retained in this finish.
