Lakeshore Residence

The owners of Lakeshore Residence in Houston, Texas wanted to blend their Indian culture along with modern influences in the design of their home. They requested that white stone be used throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces. Miro Rivera Architects responded by using Crema Marfil marble and Caliza Capri limestone. The Caliza Capri Limestone exhibits a high resistance to fire and excellent anti-slip properties so it worked perfectly for both the interior and exterior of the home. The use of Crema Marfil resulted in a functional and elegant space. A balance was struck with traditional elements from their homeland mixed with modern design.
