Art, bossa nova and exotic granites: Levantina takes its new Natural Stone collection to the Thyssen Museum
When nature’s whims turn Natural Stone into true works of art, they deserve to be in the most elegant and inspiring places. Based on this premise we at Levantina wanted our best samples of our new Nauramia collection from Brazil to be showcased in the best possible setting: the Thyssen Museum in Madrid.
The choice of the Thyssen to display these latest exotic new granite and quartzite products gave us the opportunity to hold a different kind of event, where Spain’s most prestigious interior designers and architects come together with representatives from the best known decorating and design magazines and were able to see the tiles and sculptures made of granites and quartzites from the new Naturamia® collection (the brand under which Levantina markets its granites and quartzites only in Spain).
This one-off event gave those attending the opportunity to see Natural Stone tiles, catalogued and numbered. They come in a variety of colours and with different veining which definitely set the trends in interior design and style. These are colours which stand out because of their elegance, such as the intense blacks of Cheyenne, dark colours such as Barocco; Amarula; and Lennon Gold; or the lighter colours of Portovecchio, Perla Venata; Victoria Falls; and the colours of nature such as Verde Lara.
Of course, the soirée also acknowledged the Brazilian origin of the starring materials, spicing up the evening with the rhythms of Bossa Nova, typical Brazilian food and cocktails which were as exotic and colourful as the Naturamia® collection itself.
We at Levantina are still enthused about the wonderful moment when Natural Stone succeeded in positioning itself as a truly essential element in the design of modern, elegant and exclusive interiors.
Now, after all we have told you, don’t you feel like using Naturamia® in your favourite room?
