It has been a brilliant 2016 for Levantina Group
2016 is coming to an end, a year in which Natural Stone has been a leading material in both, exteriors and interiors, and in which the latest decoration trends have made Techlam® invade new spaces and corners.
Levantina’s 2016 has been full of achievements and events and we’d like to recall the following:
Red Dot Design Awards
Levantina’s Techlam® Strattos collection was awarded with the Best Product Design of 2016 by the prestigious Red Dot Design Awards jury.
Casa Decor 2016
Levantina became once again the protagonist of Casa Decor as it introduced to the specialized press its own space designed by Fran Silvestre, as well as various collaborations with designers such as Steven Littlehales, Virginia Albuja and architects like Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, among others.
Levantina Fashion Night
The event Levantina Fashion Night joined together the world of fashion and the universe of Natural Stone. The show was a huge success and its runway, elaborated with different pieces of the new granites of Naturamia® Collection, seduced as much as the exotic and charming collection of Jorge Vázquez.
Venice Biennale 2016
Levantina took part for the first time in its history in the Biennale with an artistic installation where the architecture, the Natural Stone and the reflection on the past, present and future of the urbanism became fused in a unique space, designed by Joaquin Alvado (architect) under the name of Dynamic Cities.
Starlite Marbella 2016
Levantina Group did not miss the annual musical and social event of the Spanish summer: Starlite Marbella. Its participation, in collaboration with Héctor Ruiz Velázquez (architect), had as centre the Natural Stone: Levantina created the Welcome Desk for the VIPs of the festival, an area full of sophistication and style.
Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week
Levantina repeated its collaboration with Jorge Vázquez for the creation of a zebra walkway through the impeccable fusion of its intense black granite with white veins, Cheyenne from Naturamia® Collection and the lighter shades of its Crema Marfil Coto® marble. The result of the staging was spectacular and without a doubt, Levantina’s Natural Stone shined that night.
Marmomacc and Cersaie
This year’s Levantina’s Marmomacc stand was designed by the renowned studio Ruiz Velázquez Arquitectos. Under the name “PERCEPTION, The Origin of Senses”, the space combined impeccably design and functionality.
Techlam® Gallery, on the other hand, presented in Cersaie the novelties of the ceramic sheet in an art collection called “INFLUENCES”. It was an exhibition of art, inspiration and lifestyle, projected on Techlam® sheets and designed by the Valencian architect Borja García.
We want to thank all those who trusted us during this great year for Levantina. 2017 is granted to be another year of successes and we are looking forward to share them with all you.
