Wood, metal, virtual reality and porcelain materials: things we take to Cersaie 2014
We have been going to Bologna now for five years. It is one of the most important fairs in the ceramic and bathroom furniture sector. However for our fifth time there we were thinking of doing a little bit more than just putting on a simple exhibition, by creating for the visitors a complete sensory experience linked to our new TECHLAM collections : Wood Collection and Steel Collection.
No sooner said than done. Our new porcelain collections, inspired by the textures of wood and metal , were shown for the first time by means of an innovative interactive tour with Google Glass technology, TECHLAM Digital Experience, through which anybody who was curious could see the history of Levantina from a unique perspective. Judging by the number of selfies the visitors shared and the amount of international media gathered there, the experience ended up being one the biggest attractions of the event.
But between visits with our unusual tour anybody who came to our stand in Cersaie also had the opportunity to see for the first time the new Wood Collection and Steel Collection, the novel TECHLAM collection in which design and technology come together to create unique and realistic finishes inspired by steel and wood. These new collections are intended to add a new range of aesthetic options to the advantages of a practical and light material.
And well, we know that virtual reality is very attractive, but if you want to know how the warmth of wood or the understated aesthetic of metal would really feel in your home, you really should have a careful look at our new collections. They, unlike Google Glass, are already available in Spain
