Levantina presents its new marbles and granites at The Surface Design Show in London
10 February 2015
In recent years the Surface Design Show has become the most important show in the United Kingdom where the latest trends in solid surfaces for the construction industry are presented, bringing together hundreds of architects and designers.
Levantina is visiting London to present its latest marble and granite products to the city’s highly influential audience. The setting chosen for this is the Surface Design Show, one of the main centres for design in the world, which is held in London at this time of year.
The most important architectural studios are located in London where international buildings and projects are designed. That is why Levantina is presenting its wide range of Natural Stones, which are ideal for large-scale projects, to the public who are so influential in the sector.
One of the new products being presented is Tasman White marble, which is very much on trend in the world of decoration and interior design. It is a Natural Stone whose natural beauty helps to create unique spaces. It is the real star of the stand with its book polished finish where the natural veins in the stone themselves become a decorative element. It produces exceptional spaces which can only be achieved by using a Natural Stone which is unique and cannot be reproduced.
But if Levantina is known for anything, it is for its spectacular Crema Marfil Coto, internationally recognised as one the best cream marbles. A stone which is extracted from the quarry owned by the company in the interior of the Province of Alicante (Spain) and which has been used in innumerable architectural projects all over the world, such as the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai or the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moscow.
Granite can be used not only in interiors. Levantina has granites which are specially designed for exteriors which because of their composition and finishes are capable of withstanding bad weather and low temperatures. Polished and sandblasted Silvestre GT, Gris Serena, Cotton Motion and Anhara Black Waterflamed are of particular note. Some of these materials can be found on the facades of such iconic buildings as Trinity Long Room Hub or St. Vincent’s Hospital, both in Dublin.
Levantina wants to use its presence at this fair to strengthen its reputation as the best Natural Stone partner for architectural projects, backed up by its long experience in the sector. The latest projects the Spanish company has been involved in as a consultant or supplier of Crema Marfil marble in London have been the luxury apartment block One Kensington Gardens and the St. George Wharf Tower complex.
