Levantina successfully exhibits at the Xiamen Stone Fair and The World Stone Congress

10 March 2015

Levantina, a world leader in the quarrying, processing and marketing of Natural Stone once again attends the Xiamen Stone Fair, the leading trade fair in the sector, as well as the very successful World Stone Congress.

The Xiamen International Stone Fair, which is held in Xiamen, China, is an unmissable event in the international world of stone, where the main players in the sector arrange to meet up. There are more visitors and exhibitors every year. The Fair is extending the exhibitors' area and next year there will be new exhibition halls.

The first International Natural Stone Congress was held during the fair and, judging by the number of visitors, it was a great success. People met up every day and talked of everything from architecture to the latest quarries all over the world.
Levantina had the honour of taking part in the “Design Stone Day” on 7th March, which was organised by Mr. Wang, Managing Architect of Makish Stone, one of their most important partners in Asia. The title of the event was “Crema Marfil Coto®, a treasure for your designs”, and the many architects and designers who attended saw real works of art as well as innovative uses, and spectacular finishes of Crema Marfil Coto® from Levantina, one of the most highly acclaimed marbles.

Levantina, which has been attending this fair for seven years now, is a leading company in the country and, its stand, close to the most important Asian stands, is one of the best attended stands in the Fair.

This year Hall A, the main exhibition hall where the Chinese domestic market is most active and numerous, was moved and so Levantina decided to move, as well, to be closer to its clients. The stand had a modern and majestic design and was the meeting point for clients and the curious where they were able to touch and see the wide range of exclusive marbles which Levantina extracts from its own quarries. A ventilated facade of more than five meters in size made of Caliza and Niwala Yellow was one of the biggest attractions as these are two of the stones most valued for use in exteriors.

Inside the stand, the focus of attention was the flooring which was made of an elegant combination of the best-selling marbles in Asia, Marrón Emperador and, in pride of place, Crema Marfil Monte Coto® from Pinoso, where one of the largest cream marble quarries in the world is located.

Levantina is a leading player in the Asian market, with with numerous quarries owned by the Company all around the world, in countries such as Spain, Portugal and Brazil.
