Pulitzer Hotel

Levantina marble brings a classic elegance to this design hotel, considered to be one of the best in The Netherlands since it opened its doors in 1970. A luxury space enamoured with the past.

Its name is the legacy of its former owner Herbert Pulitzer, grandson of the press magnate Joseph Pulitzer. It has always been a luxury hotel, and since this winter it is a member of Preferred Hotels & LVX exclusive resorts, a portfolio of refined establishments with a cosmopolitan soul located in highly-sought-after central locations. Made up of 25 17th- and 18th-century merchant homes that are interconnected and flanked by the singular Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals, its 80 renovated rooms guarantee an exclusive stay, with a concept of modernity that owes part of its identity to a traditional flavour and the hallmark of lifelong materials such as Natural Stone. This is how the Marrón Emperador and Crema Marfil Coto® marbles are present, contributing a patina of classic elegance with their chromatic richness as well as their unsurpassable physical characteristics. Completely renovated under the leadership of Jacu Strauss, the Pulitzer is a Dutch designer hotel with influences from other styles and trends and at the forefront of the utmost coolness.
